- Description
- Globular jar with wide circular mouth, thin upright lip, a small movable ring on the shoulder, and a vertical S-curve strap handle on the opposite shoulder attached with a strut, the handle incised with crosshatching and embellished with applied scroll motifs; light gray stoneware with fabric-impressed decor over the body.

Compare to:
Gray earthenware vessel of very similar form, with same textured surface and S-curve strap handle excavated in 1964 from a Warring States period tomb at Qijiatun, Jinshan county, Shanghai, now in the Shanghai Museum collection.
