Provenance
- Recorded Ownership History
- The provenience of this lamp is unclear. It retains an old label on its base, L3, which appears to be an old classification either of McDaniel himself or, more probably, of the Classics Department. The lamp could well be an original component of the McDaniel Collection, but it appears neither in the 1970 unpublished McDaniel catalogue nor in David Mitten's 1959 HSCP article.
