Descriptions

Description
Obv.: The Virgin standing, facing, orans, nimbate, wearing tunic and maphorion. To l., MP, to r., ThetaV (both overlined). Double linear border. Concave, large module.

Rev.: Emperor standing, facing, wearing scale armor, cloak, and crown with cross and pendilia. In r. hand, long cross with pellet at end of each arm; l. hand on hilt of sheathed sword resting with point on the ground. Double linear border.
