Special Event

Harvard Art Museums
32 Quincy Street, Cambridge, MA

In celebration of our special exhibition Corita Kent and the Language of Pop, the museums will stay open on Thursday, November 12 until 10pm. National Grid, a major corporate supporter of the exhibition, is sponsoring the free evening hours. All galleries will remain open.

At 6pm, visitors are welcome to attend a lecture by NYU professor Nicholas Mirzoeff called “The Visual Commons: #BlackLivesMatter,” in Menschel Hall on the Lower Level. Tickets for the lecture will be distributed after 5pm, on the Lower Level, on a first-come, first-served basis, and are limited to two per person. The lecture hall doors open at 5:30pm.

Free admission.

Corita Kent and the Language of Pop is supported in part by an award from the National Endowment for the Arts and major corporate support from National Grid.
