A black-and-white photograph portrays a New York city street at night. The atmosphere looks hazy, as if a rainstorm just passed and the pavement is glistening and wet. Small puddles form on the side of the street. A horse and buggy travel on the paved street towards the viewer. The streetlamps are large and spherical emitting bright, diffused light. Apartment style buildings line the opposite side of the street.
