Obv.: Pharos (lighthouse) of Messana, atop which statue of Neptune, helmeted, holding trident in r. hand and rudder in l. hand, placing l. foot on prow; before, ship l., with aquila in prow and scepter with fillet on stern; around, [MAG.PI]VS.IMP.ITER. Border of dots.
Rev.: Scylla, wielding rudder with both hands; around, PRAEF.CLA[S.ET.ORAE.]MARIT.EX.S.C (AE, AE and MAR in ligature). Border of dots.
