2002.66.1: The Great Exhibition Prize Medal
Medals and MedallionsThe disc on the left shows the profile of a woman with laurels in her hair. Past her there is a profile of a man with short hair and a moustache. The disc on the right shows a scene of classical figures in robes. There is a seated woman speaking with four people who stand in front of her and one who kneels in front of her. She reaches one hand toward the standing people and the other hand towards the kneeling person, who she seems to be addressing directly.
