Led by Radha Pandey, an experienced papermaker from New Delhi who develops Islamic-style papers for applications in book arts and conservation, this workshop will give participants a chance to observe Islamic and Persian papermaking techniques and finishing procedures up close. The workshop is presented in conjunction with the museums’ upcoming exhibition A New Light on Bernard Berenson: Persian Paintings from Villa I Tatti, on view from May 20 to August 13, 2017.
