Lightbox Gallery Talk: Artificial Intelligence in Art and Design

Video still of AI Senses, by Kim Albrecht.

Gallery Talk

Harvard Art Museums
32 Quincy Street, Cambridge, MA

Kim Albrecht, data visualization designer at metaLAB (at) Harvard, will give today’s gallery talk.

His project AI Senses asks how “machine learning” and “artificial intelligence” influence our behaviors and understanding of the technologies they describe and the world they make. By visualizing the sensor data that are part of our cell phones and personal computers, the project helps us see how the machines we interact with on a daily basis experience the world.

Free with museums admission. This talk is limited to 15 people and tickets are required. Ten minutes before the talk, tickets will become available at the admissions desk.

Please meet in the Calderwood Courtyard, in front of the digital screens between the shop and the admissions desk. Museums staff will be on hand to collect tickets.
