About Boston: Reading and Conversation with Eileen Myles and Jackie Wang

Eileen Myles led a Poetry Pop Walk last October, in celebration of the Harvard Art Museums’ Corita Kent and the Language of Pop exhibition.

Special Event

Harvard Art Museums
32 Quincy Street, Cambridge, MA

Poet, novelist, and activist Eileen Myles will read from her work-in-progress “About Boston,” which will be the focus of her month-long creative fellowship at Harvard’s Woodberry Poetry Room this April. She will then be joined by poet, performer, and cultural theorist (and Harvard Ph.D. candidate) Jackie Wang for a dynamic conversation—about Myles’s formative years in Boston, her life in her adoptive city of New York, as well as her appearance on the television series Transparent and her own write-in presidential campaign.

Books by Eileen Myles are available for purchase at the Harvard Book Store.

Presented by the Woodberry Poetry Room. Cosponsored by the Harvard Art Museums.

Free admission

This event will take place in Menschel Hall, Lower Level.
