Impressionist and postimpressionist works on view at the Arthur M. Sackler Museum

In 2008, the building at 32 Quincy Street that formerly housed the Fogg and Busch-Reisinger museums closed for a major renovation. During this renovation, the Arthur M. Sackler Museum at 485 Broadway remains open and has been reinstalled with some of the finest works representing the collections of all three museums.

Tuesday–Saturday, 10am–5pm

Columbus Day — Monday, October 11
Veteran’s Day — Thursday, November 11
Thanksgiving Day — Thursday, November 25
Christmas Eve — Friday, December 24
Christmas Day — Saturday, December 25
New Year's Eve — Friday, December 31

Admission


General admission: $9
Members: Free
Children under 18: Free
Seniors over 65: $7
College students with valid ID: $6
Harvard students and affiliates: Free plus one guest
Cambridge Public Library cardholders: Free
Massachusetts residents with valid ID: Free on Saturday from 10am-noon
Group tour rates with pre-registration: Adults: $8, senior citizens: $6, college students with valid ID: $4

Paid admission includes entrance to the museum, public tours, and gallery talks. Please check our calendar for upcoming gallery talks and events.

Accessibility


All public areas of the museum are wheelchair accessible.
Assistance is needed at the entrance. The door is not automatic.
Complimentary wheelchairs may be borrowed at the coat check on the first floor.
Wheelchair-accessible restrooms are located on the basement level.
Service dogs are welcome.

Visitor Policies


Please refrain from touching the art.
All bags are subject to inspection.
Backpacks, bags larger than 11x14 inches, umbrellas, and rigid baby carriers must be checked.
Food and drink are not allowed within the galleries.
Strollers are permitted throughout the museum. Complimentary strollers may be borrowed at the coat check on the first floor.
Photography is allowed for personal, noncommercial use, except where noted. Flash photography and videography are not allowed in the galleries. Tripods are not allowed.
Pencils are allowed in the galleries, but pens, paint, chalk, and crayons are not. Free pencils are available at the admission desk.
Cellphone use in the galleries is restricted to Guide by Cell.
