The photograph shows and abstract shape in black against a background of brown, mottled with black and off-white. The shape flows, twists and rises up across the center of the picture plane. Areas of brown show through the twisting shape. The back ground is uneven brown, areas of black are blotted across the corners and along both sides of the photograph. In center vertical lines of jagged off-white are placed over the black shape.
