In-Sight Evening: Preparing for the New Harvard Art Museums, Part I
Special Event

Francesca Bewer, Research Curator, Straus Center for Conservation and Technical Studies; Amy Brauer, Diane Heath Beever Curator of the Collection, Division of Asian and Mediterranean Art; Michelle Lamunière, John R. and Barbara Robinson Family Assistant Curator of Photography; Jessica Levin Martinez, Director of Academic Partnerships; Melissa Moy, Cunningham Assistant Curator of Asian Art; and Elizabeth Rudy, Theodore Rousseau Assistant Curator of European Paintings

Our popular In-Sight Evenings kick off with an inside glimpse at the work our curators and conservators are doing in preparation for the reopening of our new facility on Quincy Street. Far more than a physical enhancement, the transformation will enable the collections of our three constituent museums to be conceived and presented in wholly fresh ways, unbound by traditional delineations of media, culture, or period.

Illustrated presentation begins at 6:30pm; galleries open and refreshments served from 6 to 8:30pm.

Free to members, $15 for nonmembers.

Space is limited and registration is required. RSVP by October 1, 2012, by emailing am_membership [at] harvard [dot] edu or calling 617-495-4544. Members will receive invitations in the mail.

Limited complimentary parking at Broadway Garage, 7 Felton Street.
