From object research to catalogue production and gallery planning, our curators are engaged in a myriad of activities, all vital to the reopening of our new facility in fall 2014. In the second part of this behind-the-scenes look at the new Harvard Art Museums, curators will present illustrated talks about preparing our ancient bronze collection for publication and display; researching the works of Ed Ruscha for inclusion in the contemporary galleries; and installing a gallery dedicated to Pre-Raphaelite artists.
The illustrated talk begins at 6:30pm; open galleries and refreshments served from 6 to 8:30pm.
Free for members; $15 for nonmembers. Space is limited and registration is required. RSVP by March 12, 2013. Email am_membership [at] harvard [dot] edu or call 617-495-4544 to register. Members will receive invitations in the mail.
