This gallery talk will focus on the technical analysis and conservation treatment of several works featured in the Calderwood Collection. Conservators and scientists from the Straus Center for Conservation and Technical Studies will describe their analytical approaches, what they did to prepare the ceramics and manuscripts for exhibition, and what their work revealed about the materials and methods used to produce these objects.
