Michelle Lamunière, John R. and Barbara Robinson Family Assistant Curator of Photography, Harvard Art Museums. Ilisa Barbash, Associate Curator of Visual Anthropology, Peabody Museum of Archaeology and Ethnology, Harvard University

The Peabody Museum holds collections focused on the history and origins of cultural traditions. Our visit will include the recently installed exhibition From Daguerreotype to Digital: Anthropology and Photography, and will offer us a chance to explore the impact photography has had on the field of anthropology.

Participation is free, but registration is required. Harvard Treasures is a members-only series that explores the university’s architectural riches and art holdings beyond the museums. To learn more about membership and to register for the tour, email am_membership [at] harvard [dot] edu (am_membership@ harvard.edu), or call 617-495-4544.
