On this trip we will explore two prominent museums in western Massachusetts. We begin our day at the Williams College Museum of Art with tours of the permanent collection and the temporary exhibitions, as well as an exclusive visit to the Rose Study Gallery, where we will view original works of art up close. After lunch, we will tour the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art (MASS MoCA), one of the premier contemporary art museums in the country. Among the installations we will see are Life’s Work: Tom Phillips and Johnny Carrera and Mark Dion’s The Octagon Room.
