Notes
[1] William Harvey was a minor when he inherited. His uncle, General Edward Harvey acted as his Guardian.

[2] The 2010 Murillo Catalogue Raisonne lists Otto Beit as the owner of the painting, but it was published as Alfred Beit’s property in 1904. Alfred never married and had no children.

[3] Kann's ownership is documented in 1914 in "Murillo: des Meisters Gemälde" published in 1913.

[4] Cassel’s ownership is derived from the Duveen Brothers Subdivision of Stock at May 31, 1925.
